Students will create a whimsical folk art floral painting on a circular canvas while learning basic acrylic painting techniques, color layering, brush control, and simple decorative pattern making. Participants will be encouraged to personalize their design by choosing their own color palette and adding unique floral elements, resulting in a finished piece that reflects their individual style. By the end of the class, each student will leave with a completed painting, increased confidence in their creative abilities, and an introduction to the playful, expressive style of folk art.
